Everyday Evangelism Workshop
Equip Your Church to Share Faith Naturally and Confidently
The Problem Most Churches Face
Your people love Jesus. They want to share their faith. But when the moment comes, they freeze.
They don't know what to say
They're afraid of saying the wrong thing
They worry about being pushy or awkward
They've tried before and it didn't go well
So they stay silent.
But what if sharing faith could feel natural? What if your people had practical tools, clear frameworks, and the confidence to engage in everyday conversations about Jesus?
That's what the Everyday Evangelism Workshop does.

What Your People Will Learn
The Everyday Evangelism Workshop is a 2.5-3 hour interactive training that gives your people practical tools they can use immediately.
1. Your Unique Voice Matters
Not everyone shares faith the same way. We help participants identify their unique evangelistic voice:
The Proclaimer - Direct, bold, clear
The Guide - Relational, walking alongside
The Thinker - Thoughtful, intellectual engagement
The Storyteller - Personal narrative, experience-based
"I understand different approaches to sharing my faith better."
2. Overcoming Common Fears
We address the barriers that keep people silent:
Fear of saying the wrong thing
Fear of being pushy or offensive
Fear of not knowing enough
Fear of damaging relationships
Participants learn: These fears are normal—and there are practical ways to work through them.
"This class has really opened my eyes as to how simple it can be to share the Gospel. Once I could develop my fears & develop my story I've been given the change I needed to share."
3. The H.O.P.E. Gospel Presentation
A simple, clear framework anyone can remember:
Holy God
Our Sin
Perfect Savior
Eternal Life
Participants practice: Sharing the gospel in 90 seconds with a partner
"It taught me how to compose a testimony."
"That our testimony and Jesus' Death and resurrection is important."
4. Your 90-Second Testimony
We help participants craft their personal story in three parts:
Before: Life before Christ
Encounter: How you came to faith
After: How Jesus changed your life
Participants practice: Sharing their testimony with confidence
"The 90 second limitations help to understand openness to express God's word in a concise way."
"I didn't think I had a story." (They discovered they did!)
5. Blue Line Recognition
The Blue Line is a natural threshold where everyday conversation can gracefully cross into eternal significance.
Participants learn to recognize four types of spiritual openness:
When someone shares a struggle
When someone asks about your motivation
When someone mentions spiritual curiosity
When life transitions create openness
Participants learn: You don't have to create opportunities—God is already creating them. You just need eyes to see them.
"Recognizing the Blue Line Statements - 'I have an opening - I can do it!'"
"Blue line recognizing those moments."
"The Blue Line Moments."
6. The Permission-Based Approach
The #1 fear people have: Being pushy or offensive.
The solution: Ask permission before sharing.
We teach a simple three-step framework:
Be Curious - Ask genuine questions
Validate - Acknowledge what they've shared
Ask Permission - "Would you mind if I shared...?"
Participants learn: When someone gives you permission, the awkwardness disappears. It is a gateway to amazing gospel conversations.
"The power of asking permission."
"Ask permission to share. It allows the person to say no or yes!"
"Ask permission - it's amazing."
7. Bridge Statements
Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus, Paul, and others masterfully using bridge statements - natural transition phrases that move everyday conversations toward spiritual truth.
Examples:
"I used to worry about that too, until I discovered something that gave me real peace about it."
"That's such a tough situation. Can I share something that really helped me when I went through something similar?"
"You know, I've been thinking a lot about what really matters in life lately. Have you ever thought about what happens after we die?"
"It sounds like you're searching for meaning/purpose. I found something that completely changed my perspective on that."
"I noticed you mentioned you're spiritual but not religious. I'm curious - what does spirituality mean to you?"
"That's a great question about [suffering/injustice/life's problems]. The way I've come to understand it is..."
"You seem like someone who thinks deeply about things. Have you ever considered what part God plays in your life?"
"I'm grateful for [specific blessing]. It reminds me of how much God cares about the details of our lives."
"With everything going on in the world, I've realized how important it is to have hope that's anchored in something solid."
"That's interesting you brought up [topic]. There's actually a connection between that and something I've been learning about with faith."
Participants learn: How to create bridge statements that fit their voice and context.
"Creating bridge statements to help open doors/keep them open!"
"I love the bridging statements and questions, I also like asking permission to share (addresses my main concern), and Life's Most Important Question."

The Time Paradox (A Good Problem)
The most common piece of constructive feedback we receive from our workshops:
"We needed more time!"
This is actually a positive signal. People didn't want less content—they wanted MORE. They were so engaged that they wanted to go deeper.
"2 hours in evening is tough, but I thought even more time would be good."
If your church wants extended training, we offer half-day and full-day formats with more practice time, additional content, and deeper engagement.
