About Grant Reed
Founder & President, Ready to Tell Ministries
Grant Reed is an evangelist, author, and ministry trainer dedicated to equipping believers worldwide to share their faith with confidence and grace. As founder of Ready to Tell Ministries, he helps churches overcome the modern evangelism crisis through practical, research-backed training methods.
A Luke 14:23 Calling
Grant's evangelistic calling was confirmed during Air Force Basic Training in September 1994 when Luke 14:23 became his life verse: "Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full."
Far from family and fellow believers, watching fellow airmen living without God, Grant understood that simply "going out" isn't enough—we must open our mouths and speak a compelling message. That verse taught him to help people see the dire nature of eternity, the great love of God, and His incredible kindness in sending Jesus to rescue them.
Today, with over 8.1 billion people on earth and much room in heaven, Grant believes there are still many people who, given the opportunity to hear the Gospel clearly, would believe and be saved.

Ministry Experience
Grant has served in multiple pastoral roles including pastoral resident, worship pastor, college and singles pastor, and interim pastor for five months. These experiences taught him the power of structured preaching and godly leadership.
Currently serves as Prayer and Care Team Leader for an international men's ministry, bringing leadership experience to churches seeking to strengthen their men's programs.
Life-Shaping Experiences
Military Service: Air Force veteran whose military experience instilled values of self-discipline and attention to detail that serve him well in ministry preparation and execution.
International Perspective: A near-death experience during a mission trip and civil war in Cambodia taught him the urgency of eternity. When you've faced death, you understand that we must be prepared for the end—and help others prepare as well.
Personal Transformation: For 17 years, Grant carried unforgiveness toward his father, which created fear and distance in relationships. When God reconciled their relationship, everything changed. This personal transformation opened his heart to see what God says about him as what matters most—and fuels his passion to help others discover their identity in Christ.
Author & Researcher
Grant is the author of "The Heaven Statement: One Simple Statement That Changes Everything", a grace-centered approach to evangelism that addresses the documented crisis in American faith sharing. His method is backed by extensive research from Barna Group and LifeWay Research showing that while 96% of Christians believe in sharing faith, 47% think it's wrong to actually do it.
Personal Life
Originally from northern Indiana and north-central Texas, Grant came to Colorado for a 7-week Focus on the Family program, fell in love with the outdoors and mountains, and knew this was home.
Grant is blessed to be married with two children—a daughter and son who keep life joyful and grounded. His wife and family are his greatest earthly treasures and fully support this evangelistic calling that God has placed on his life.
He is a member of White Fields Calvary Chapel in Longmont, Colorado, under Pastor Nicky Cady's leadership.
Heart for Ministry
"What excites me most about evangelistic ministry is the opportunity to impact people's ETERNITY! There's nothing more thrilling than being used by God to introduce someone to Jesus Christ."
Grant's life goal is simple: "I want to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ until the day I die."
Personal Interests: Grant loves personal fitness, hiking, challenging himself, using his BBQ smoker and making delicious sides, and growing in leadership capacity. Fishing and camping with his family provide both rest and adventure. He has a fun, laughable personality with a sense of humor, but when it comes to the eternal nature of the Gospel, he takes fewer liberties to make jokes.
Eternal Perspective: Grant has had the joy of leading several friends, family members, and strangers to Christ. Some have since gone on to ministry, others have gone on to glory. Knowing they'll celebrate God's goodness together in eternity is incredibly rewarding and keeps him deeply motivated.
